Explain the philosophy/topic/tradition contribution to science in general and modern science in particular.
Presentation on Critical Theory
The presentation should not be more 30-40 minutes in length
with an additional of 10 minutes for discussion and include 3
questions for discussion with 10 PhD Nursing students at the end of
presentation
Please also provide an article (via upload for me) for
handout in class related to nursing that reflects the Critical
Theory’s view.
Provide an overview of the background and historical
influences of the topic
Explain the underlying tenets of the
philosophy/topic/tradition.
Review the historical background
Identify the major philosophers who have influence the
topic/tradition.
Explain the philosophy/topic/tradition contribution to
science in general and modern science in particular
Present the design of methodological approach.
Discuss the steps of data analysis for the method
Discuss implication for nursing science
Prepare 3-4 questions to stimulate class discussion.
